Description
Jennie Miller Culp arrived in Whittier from Kansas with her family at the age of 5, in 1893. Her father was a walnut farmer who helped build the German Baptist Church (also known as Dunkard church) in then-Los Nietos, now Santa Fe Springs. The cemetery of the church, Olive Grove, is still there as of 2017. She discusses walnut farming methods, and the families of children with whom she attended Los Nietos School.
