Description
News Release No. SR-818-614. The case is made for the power of motion pictures to influence the minds of people; and the quickness of the Communist leadership to grasp this point and the need for the United States to use it to advance its ideals of freedom are noted; George Stevens, Jr. also refers to a statement by Carl Sandburg, a firm believer in motion pictures being more than entertainment, before showing the Woman's National Democratic Club The Five Cities of June, a United States Information Agency production.
