Title supplied by cataloger. First photograph caption dated March 13, 1969 reads, "Students hurl strikers' barricade aside to clear entrance to campus. Members of faculty joined in removing obstacles to upset efforts by dissidents to school the school." The second caption dated April 30, 1972 reads, "The spiralling [sic] toll of vandalism, locally and nationally, is reflected most dramatically at schools, where students in recent years have replaced the old chicanery of water bombs, rotten eggs and chalk-writing with the malice of fire-bombs, spray-painting, window-breaking and other forms of destruction. Scenes from the 1969 student riot at Los Angeles City College, which caused thousands of dollars in damage."
