The Pacific Electric Subway Terminal Building completed in 1926 and restored circa 1990, is a large twelve-story office building based on 16th-century Italian prototype, designed by Schultze and Weaver. It was the terminus of a trolley line that connected downtown with Hollywood. The segment of the line near downtown went under Bunker Hill, hence the name "Subway Terminal." View is of the new pool on the roof of Metro 417, the old Subway Terminal Building, located at 417 S. Hill St. Photograph dated September 13, 2005.
