Original photograph has rust marks along top center. Photograph caption dated May 13, 1965 reads, "Willie Davis desperately tries to tag home plate last night before Houston's catcher Johnny Bateman can put the tag on him. The Dodger centerfielder was trying to score from first on a single to right by Ron Fairly, but umpire Al Foreman was right on the play and called him out. Dodger captain Maury Wills argues with Foreman as does Davis. L.A. catcher John Roseboro also gets into the riot act. The Dodgers behind the six-hit pitching of Don Drysdale beat Houston, 4-2, at Dodger Stadium. Fairly's hit produced the winning runs for the third game in the last eight days. The same two clubs square off again tonight with Sandy Koufax and Bob Bruce hooking up at 8 p.m." See images 00162940 through 00162942 for additional photos in this series.
