Photograph of flooded street at Venice Boulevard and Union Avenue, January 1932. To the far right, a street with a single automobile traveling along it can be seen. In the foreground at center, a lamppost is visible. In the background, a large store can be seen beside a large utility pole. A sidewalk should be visible along storefront, but a deep layer of water can be seen instead. The flooded water extends from the street to the sidewalk and extends into the extreme background. In the background at center, several cars can be seen parked along the side of the road. Legible signs include: "Tires", "Cafe", "Official Brake Testing Headlight Adjusting", "Union Gasoline", and "Eddie Miller Inc., Complete Tire Service".
