Description
Shown in 1924 is the newly constructed Sacramento High School, located at 2315 Thirty-Fourth Street. It was designed by San Francisco-based architect Edgar A. Matthews, who, for much of his career, had been primarily a residential designer. For his labor, he earned 4.5 percent of the total cost of the structure, or roughly 7,000 dollars.
