Description
"Dad" Malone, wife Lucia, sons Sirick (called Alex) and Alfred (called Babe). The Malone family originally came to California from Illinois, settling in Eureka, California, but they moved to San Jose to follow their son Albert (pictured here). Albert Malone was a teamster in New Almaden. Lucia Kelly was from Half Moon Bay and was of Mexican and Irish descent. They eventually divorced and Lucia moved to San Francisco. The two sons stayed in San Jose, but moved to Marin County after the 1906 earthquake.
