Description
Photograph shows logs - 6 logs equals 19,600 feet log scale - on a railroad train at Lyonsville, part of the Sierra Lumber Company operation. These are either white or yellow pine (ponderosa) logs. This timber was called white pine in the early days of the industry in California.
