Description
The Terminal Island fish harbor, the center of Japanese fishing activities in this area, on July 26, 1941, became a focal point in the growing Japanese-American crisis as the United States Coast Guard stationed an armed guard at its numerous docks. In the background are oil tanks, closely guarded by Coast Guardsmen.
