Description
Scene of the completely destroyed building which held T. W. Hobson's Clothiers, 49-51 South First Street, as well as the heavily damaged Phelan Building next door, at 53 South First Street. Many men are standing atop the rubble of the building, trying to clear away some debris from the large structure. One man died when the building collapsed.
