Description
Lowe Track, Woodland, California. 227 acres; raw over flow land. First ever plowed was Spring 1910. Was planted to beets that year in June. Was Fall plowed 1910 after crop was off (crop very light owing to late planting). Replowed and worked during latter part of April and first of May 1911. Was planted May 12th thru May 26th 1911. Beets were eleven weeks old when Photo was taken - E. C. Hamilton
