Description
This 1927 photograph shows the newly-built power plant at the Sacramento County Hospital at Stockton Boulevard and V Street. One of the first buildings constructed on the hospital’s campus, it boasts a tile roof, stucco exterior and Romanesque arched windows. The plant was tucked back into the eastern-most section of the hospital grounds. To the far left of the photograph is the hospital’s laundry. The hospital was officially opened in the summer of 1929.
