Photograph caption dated March 22, 1957 reads "'Want to buy a ticket, Mister?' - 'Crazy Legs' Elroy Hirsch is approached by Corvallis High School students with tickets for Sunday night's annual ham dinner sponsored by Patron's Club from 1 to 7 p.m. Girls are, left to right, Marianne Kiechle, Eleanor Loomis and Susan Stafford. Thomas Jackel and Leonard St. John head arrangements. Mrs. Sadie Beechler is assisted with dinner plans by Mrs. F. O. O'Toole, Mrs. Manuel Rendon, Mrs. Harold Achterling, Robert Stafford, Harold Achterling, David Willock and T. O. O'Toole. [sic] Proceeds will go to building fund."
