Description
Photograph of hillside residences on Argyle Avenue, Hollywood, March 11, 1930. Five large homes can be seen. Two three-story homes can be seen next to one another at center at the end of a paved road that runs from the center foreground towards the homes. The home at left sports a three-car garage, a balcony, and a terracotta tiled roof. The house to the right of it is lighter in color and sports a two-car garage, terracotta tiled roof, and a staircase that leads from street-level to the front entrance on the second-story. Two other two- to three-story homes are visible higher on the hill behind the first two homes. The fifth home can be seen at right and is partially made of brick. The paved road in the foreground curves to the right behind this home.
