Photograph caption dated March 23, 1955 reads "Wrangler Jim and his faithful companion horse 'Cochise,' seen Monday through Friday at noon over KABC-TV, Channel 7, will appear in person at the two Panorama Supermarkets in the Valley on Saturday, March 26. The Wrangler will sing Western songs, spin yarns of the ol' West and autograph pictures. The Wrangler will appear first at Panorama Market No. 1 at 8340 Van Nuys Blvd. at 1:30 p.m., and then at Panorama Market No. 2 at 10321 Sepulveda Blvd. in San Fernando at 4 p.m." Wrangler Jim was played by James "Jim" Voorhees.
