Photograph taken on Thanksgiving at the Union Rescue Mission, 226 South Main Street, 24 November 1955. "George Koines, head chef, serves Robert Holland, 57, with a turkey leg. An estimated 2400 will be fed by tonite. They are serving 1100 lbs. of turkey and 400 pies" -- typed on verso. Clippings from the Examiner attached to verso from 25 November 1955 & 9 January 1961.
