Description
Photograph in panorama of Sonora Town, the first plaza area in Los Angeles, ca.1924. The densely packed town shows buildings up to but not exceeding four stories, one of which to the left sports three spires. Telephone poles are also interspersed among them. This area marks the location of the first settlement in 1781. Fourty-four persons were alotted town lots within the lines drawn. Tree foliage hangs in from the right of the frame.
