Description
This March 27, 1929, photograph from the southwest corner of the Sacramento County Hospital looks toward the facility's 243-foot wide administrative building. To the left of the photograph are the three southern wards of the hospital. Five years later, the Works Progress Administration would be responsible to constructing a new, 49,000 dollar Old Women's Home and Clinic which would be located just beyond the southeastern walls of the hospital proper.
