San Fernando Valley State College is now California State University Northridge.
Photograph caption dated November 19, 1962 reads "Terry Brannan, 19-year-old junior, was crowned Homecoming Queen of Valley State College this weekend during a dance on the Northridge Campus. Miss Brannan, Hollywood, is an English major and was sponsored by Phi Sigma Tau. Her court includes Karen Keene, 20, Pasadena; Barbara Paisley, 19, Encino; Peggy Meairs, 19, San Bernardino, and Sandra Lee Snyder, 19, Granada Hills."
