Description: The Griffith Observatory and the main building, the planetarium, are seen from below. The center section is the planetarium. The two small domes on each side contain separate telescopes. The hillside below it does not yet look like it has been landscaped. View is from the southeast. The observatory was completed in 1935. Architects: John C. Austin and Frederick M. Ashley.
