Description
The first Los Angeles International Horse Show opened October 12, 1951, at the Pan Pacific Auditorium. Here is shown Capt. Raul Campero, of the Mexican Olympic jumping team, putting his horse over a high hurdle, practicing for the events. Note the taut, straining animal--and the tense crouch of the man on the left, as though he were helping the animal over the double jump.
