Description
Construction of the observatory dome for the 100-inch telescope building, Mount Wilson Observatory, as seen from the south. The steel framing for the dome is clearly visible; steel sheathing is in place near the bottom of the dome portion. The concrete foundation is surrounded by scaffolding. Trees and shrubs are in the area surrounding the building.
