Description
Cracked under the sea's fierce pounding, a section of the concrete walk at Redondo Beach is shown on December 26, 1940, as giant waves lashed the beaches in a new fury of storm. A portion of the strand was undermined by waters and two houses on the walk collapsed under the pounding of breakers. The two homes destroyed were valued at $25,000.
