Ivy writes a letter to Rogers to extend gratitude for his charitable letter to Charles Kean "under his unfortunate breakdown." He also sends a check for 21.15 pounds. Ivy ends with an update as to the health condition of Kean and cites three doctors who recommend that Kean rest for six months. Letter contains a postscript that excuses Mrs. Kean's lack of a letter because of "an abscess in the mouth." Watermark at center of letter reads: "Towgoods Extra Super." The page two scan was rotated 90 degrees clockwise. The page four scan was rotated 180 degrees.
