Aerial view of the Ford Motor Company, Mercury Plant site located at 8900 E. Washington Boulevard in Pico Rivera; view is looking north. The plant is located on the corner of Rosemead Boulevard (lower left corner to lower right) and Washington Boulevard (middle right to upper left). Paramount Boulevard is visible horizontally at upper middle. The 157-acre manufacturing facility was dedicated on May 6, 1948; the plant closed in 1980 and was purchased by Northrop Grumman in 1982. Photograph dated May 15, 1957.
