The name changed to Consolidated Temperature Controlling Co. in 1888; the name was once again changed to Electric Thermostat Company in 1892, and later that same year to Electric Heat Regulator Co.; in 1912 it became Minneapolis Heat Regulator Co. The company merged with Honeywell Heating Specialities in 1927 to form Minneapolis-Honeywell Regulator Company. The name was changed for the last time in 1964 to Honeywell Inc.
