Description
Photograph of a man and a woman standing in front of a bandstand in Pershing Square in Los Angeles, ca.1890. The large bandstand is in the background at center. It is round and has a massive conical roof. The man is standing between a small pine tree and an iron lamp(?) at center. The woman is standing to the right of the lamp. There is a concrete sidewalk that begins at center and branches off in several directions, including the foreground at left. In addition to the pine tree, there are several trees visible in the park, as well as a low bush with long, pointed leaves at right.
