The North Western Diocese, Tanzania, 1984. Missionary Gudrun Larsen's foster daughter Suzanne with her daughter Upendo. Suzanne was 3 days old when her father in 1950 brought her to the Kashasha Girl's' School where Gudrun Larsen was serving as teacher. Her mother had died, and her father requested them to take care of the girl. Since then she was Gudrun Larsen's foster daughter. Suzanne attended a Home Craft School, spent one year in Denmark, and later she trained as an auxiliary nurse and worked in a hospital.
