Description
Elizabeth Short's murder is refered to as the "Black Dahlia" case. Robert "Red" Manley was at one time a prime suspect in the murder. In this picture taken at the police station, Manley's wife (Harriet) and his father (William Manley) are seen on the left. On the right are the relatives of the victim: Mrs. Virginia West (sister) and Phoebe Short (mother)
