Description: Group photo taken of members of the Veteran's Volunteer Band. Sitting with the band is Col. Robert A. Bringham, manager of the Veterans' Administration facility. Standing on the extreme right is A.B. Akers, leader of the band. Seated on the ground, third from right is Hachfeld, 81 years old and a former member of the famous Marine band under Sousa. Photo dated: September 4, 1940.
