Description: Elizabeth Short's murder is refered to as the "Black Dahlia" case. In this picture taken at the police station we see the relatives of the victim seated in the homicide investigation room. The two women are Phoebe Short (mother) and Mrs. Virginia West (sister). Next to Mrs. West is her husband Adrian West. The two men on the left in the picture are Coroner Ben Brown and Chief Deputy Coroner Victor Wallage.
