Photograph of a group of children and a few adults posed at the Theosophical Institute in Point Loma, ca.1902. At center two rows of two dozen children and four women can be seen standing with boys standing on the sides and girls at center. In front of the rows, three men with mustaches are visible sitting in chairs. A row of boys and girls can be seen sitting in the dirt in front. The boys are visible all wearing identical outfits of dark long-sleeved shirts, white britches, black stockings, and boots. Some of the boys at right hold what appear to be rifles. The girls and women wear various types of dresses, while trees are visible in the background.
