The first purposely built City Hall, completed in 1931, was demolished in 1975. At the last meeting of the City Council in the 1931 building, Council members considered important issues including a land swap with the City of Westminster, revision of the city's Growth Policy and accepted the Planning Commission's Work Program for 1974 which pointed to much of the significant infrastructure change the city experienced shortly thereafter. This film also shows the interior of the Art Moderne structure prior to demolition.
