Description
Arabella, in a black dress and hat, sits opposite Collis, playing cards at a table in a rustic room. A deer head hangs on the back wall.
MS note on verso reads: "l. to r.: Arabella Huntington, Miss Caroline M. Campbell, [Miss Jennie Sherrill?], Collis P. Huntington. In background (left) [Baron Natili?] and (right) Frank Lathrop (portrait painter). At Camp Pine Knot, Raquette Lake, New York.” Camp Pine Knot was built by William West Durant and sold to railroad magnate Collis P. Huntington in 1895.
