Photograph caption dated January 2, 1963 reads "Mrs. Rosemary Endres, 23, proudly holds her daughter, Margaret Jean, the first baby born in the Valley in 1963. The 6-pound, 13-ounce girl was born at 1:18 a.m. Tuesday at Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys, where Mrs. Endres is employed as a surgical nurse. Baby, mother and father, Richard, are reported doing fine. The family lives at 17933 Roscoe Blvd., Northridge."
