Charles Handy thought for the day on believing in one's self to achieve great things and not being afraid to do so. Handy begins the thought discussing how he believes humans were not meant to be subservient to technology for their life's work. Nevertheless, he goes on to discuss the benefits generated by new technology, and how the new wealth being created will not cost people or the environment. Handy then talks about how the self-starting, creative impulse has been suppressed in today's society, and how it should come back. He proceeds to quote a phrase attributed to Nelson Mandela concerning not being afraid to let one's light shine, and concludes his thought arguing that people must not be afraid to be wonderful.
