Description
Group portrait of cyclists standing in front of a San Jose building with a collection of bicycles in front of them. "The good old days" is written in pencil across the top of the mount. "California Associated Cycling Clubs at San Jose 1895. (Compliments of Garden City [Cycling])" is written underneath the photograph. There are two names and addresses on the back of the mount: "Louis L. Stein, Jr." and "Ruth Gray". "Kelsey" is also written on the back. Note: This photo may have been taken September 8th or 9th, 1895. The California Associated Cycling Clubs had a competitive parade during the annual Admission Day bicycle racing tournament in San Jose.
