Photograph article dated July 25, 1963 partially reads, "The Crestline area of the San Bernardino Mountains - near Lake Arrowhead - is the home of still another theme park. The trend, to design park playlands on the basis of some theme, is well illustrated by Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Santa's Village, and such places as Legend City in Phoenix, Ariz.; Four Seasons in Provo, Utah, and Six Flags in Texas. The new resort playland - the Enchanted Forest - is located two miles west of Running Springs on Highway 30, near Santa's Village. It is based on a 16th century Black Forest theme with a large picnic area, concessions and rides." Mrs. Claus offers goodies.; See image #00119623 for additional photo in this series.
