Photograph of the interior of the lobby at Long Beach's Virginia Hotel, 1900-1910. The lobby is a massive room whose ceiling is held up by thick marble columns. Chandeliers hang from the ceiling in organized rows. High-backed upholstered chairs can be seen gathered near the columns, and decorative rungs cover the floor. A large archway can be seen at the end of the room in the distance at center.
