The bark-cloth dress has been put on to make an offering [or perhaps better: and will be offered]. It is not an every-day dress." Annotation: "b) Frauenkleid aus Baumrinde, Rock aus dajakschem Gewebe der Batang - Dajaken. Das Rindenkleid ist Opfergabe, nicht zum täglichen Gebrauch."
