Photograph caption dated February 5, 1963 reads "Wins trip." The article partially reads "Vito Scattaglia, Valley Times TODAY carrier salesman in Sylmar, has been chosen one of the six outstanding newspaperboys in the state." The 14-year-old won a trip to San Francisco.
