Photograph article dated December 4, 1962 partially reads, "More than 12,000 people visited the Tom Carrell Chevrolet agency, 753 San Fernando Rd., San Fernando, Saturday as the firm marked a quarter century of business operation with a huge 25th anniversary celebration party... Among the guests at a preview showing Friday evening, were the first two buyers of Chevrolets from the firm when it started business, and each was presented with a sack of 25 silver dollars by Carrell. First customer was Camerino S. Lopez, Pinney St., Pacoima; second customer was W. M. Bew, who now resides at 8640 Kester Ave., Van Nuys. Both are still customers of Tom Carrell Chevrolet."
