Members and supporters of the Moslem Iranian Students Society march on downtown streets from Pershing Square to El Pueblo de Los Angeles in commemoration of the third anniversary of the death of Moussa khiabani, an opposition leader of Ayatollah Khomeini of Iran. Khiabani was killed along with 20 members of the People's Mojahedin Organization, and they're now viewed as resistance heroes among many in the Iranian community. Police said the marchers numbered about 1,000. There were no reports of any arrests. Photograph dated February 8, 1985.
