Photograph caption dated April 2, 1958 reads, "Adventure ends in jail - Peter Van Duinwyk, 18, left, talks to officer H. W. Sherforne at North Hollywood Hospital as his two friends Don E. Pullen, 19, and George Hamline, 19, at right, have warm coffee. Trio had been just rescued after floating down flood-swollen Los Angeles River 20 miles from Canoga Park on rubber raft. They were later booked for 'loitering and trespassing.'"
