A view of the bath house, center, and midway at The Pike amusement park south of Ocean Blvd. in Long Beach. Top, left, is the Virginia Hotel.; Started in 1902, The Pike ran until 1979. When the Pacific Electric line to Long Beach was built, the Long Beach Bath House and Amusement Company built this bath house on the beach near the end of the street car line.
