Photograph caption dated June 10, 1964 reads "Left, Royal chops onions, Kents browns butter as they prepare their favorite afternoon snack in the Martin's kitchen." The article partially reads "Cooking is as much a part of the modern teen-ager's life as surfing and sailing. For those non-believers, take a look at Royal Martin and Kent Greenwald. Both athletic, spirited and typical of their breed, they turned to cooking out of need, not choice." The boys are cooking in the Northridge home of Martin.; See images #00136843 through #00136845 for all photos in this series.
