This light-colored art deco building has a small overhang with rounded edges below a sign that shows a large "A & P" inside a circle. Above, another large sign faces toward the left with the same A & P sign accompanied by a Thrifty Drug Store sign. At center, the inside of the market is barely visible through the large opening. In the foreground, at least seven cars are visible on the street outside the market. Four of the cars are parked, while the other three are driving by.
