Description
Construction of the 'stellar' pier of Snow telescope, Mount Wilson Observatory. The foundation pier is made from rocks and concrete; the wooden scaffolding still surrounds the structure. Behind the pier, tall poles support the lines for pulleys. Trees are in the surrounding area.
