Description
Photograph of a residence in Santa Barbara, ca.1900. This light-colored, three-story Queen Anne style house, at right, is elevated from the main sidewalk that is lined by bushes with lightly-colored flowers. To the left five paved steps lead to a secondary path in the direction of the residence. The grounds appear to have assorted trees, palms, and flowers as well as a garden with a trellis to the far left. The home itself has a number of traditional Queen Anne features including at least five porches or balconies with "gingerbread" trim, two in the front, and three on the side that is visible.
